The food here is still okay (it cycles up and down) and with both a large selection and good variety to the selection. The service was pretty poor. It was a slow night yet we constantly flag someone down if we needed anything. And then, we tried to leave.First, no one had the check. Burn five minutes while they locate that. Then, we had told them to split the check (2 on one check, 1 on the other) and they hadn't despite saying they would. Then, after massive confusion at the cashier over that, we handed them 20 bucks to pay the 9 buck and change bill, and got loose change back. The cashier had taken the 20 and given us change for a 10. Ten minutes of arguing ensued to no avail. So our senior discount became a senior 2x the price deal. Sadly, we'd already paid the 2 person check, or I'd have been tempted to stiff them on that...Results, one happy occasion turned into three pissed of gwei los. Guess I'm not going back till the next (wait, ten minutes; they happen about that often) management change. I dont mind bad service, but fucking stealing from me?!?!? Nope, not playing that game.(I think this is the first BAD review I've ever written on Yelp!)

people here let their kids lose. It a free for all for savage kids parents should tell their kids something instead of watching the touch the food on the buffet. They should put a sign curb your kids. Shit I never seen so many bad and loud kids. They should have a kid section and adult section I love kids but I dont like screming in my ear from the time I get their to the time I leave its not worth the money. I might as well eat my food on the freeway. Its a shame because they will make so much money if they seperated the kids from the non kids tables.

Very good selection, good taste, and very worth the price. CRAB LEGS, clams, mongolian style stir-fry, salmon sushi, crawfish, seafood soup, shave ice, bok choy, cream cheese ragoons are some of my favorites. Not 5 stars because the food was kind of cold, and a little girl was hiding because she said she saw a cockroach... but oh well lol, can't beat the price and crab legs make everything ok :)

$11 bucks for lunch might be approaching the moderately pricy range. But, the food here is consistently satisfying! And, of course, it's all you care to eat!!!There has to be a good reason why this place is always so crowded! After eating here numerous times over the years, I definitely believe that this is the best Chinese buffet in the area!

We haven't been to this buffet in several years, we were trying to remember and think it was 2006. It used to be really good. Wow, were we really disappointed. I don't think they've taken good care of the place since there. It seemed run down, blinds were dirty, needs a lot of touch up paint, and some new dishes.First, they just weren't friendly when you walked in. Very cold and unwelcoming. There were only 2 of us and they tried to seat us a lot a table for 6 that was slightly split apart, but still felt like we wouldn't have any privacy (for us nor the people already sitting there). We asked for another seat and she said OK and LEFT! We went and stood in line and they took the next couple of 2 ignoring us. So, we searched for our own booth that was dirty and grabbed it.They must have run out of china plates because they had these hard plastic plates for a while. A couple food items were mislabeled (lemon chicken when is was orange chicken), and the area just seemed dirty. Yes, it's a buffet, but it was dirtier than most.I went for ice cream since I figured they can't screw that up and had to hunt for a bowl that didn't have this crusty stuff underneath the bowl.Needless to say, after having such positive experiences at this place several years before, we probably won't be back.

Better than average buffet with a vast selection of items. Some prepared fresh before you and most of it is well made. If you don't like this place then you really need to avoid $10 and under buffets cause you won't like any of them.

I've been here before with family and friends. I really like this place. I like chinese food and when you are really starving this is a good place to try out. the food here is very good and there is all sorts to choose from. I especially like if you go for dinner they have a chef there that makes you a fresh mongolian bbq and you choose what meat and veggies you want in it. the servers are very good with refilling your drinks and clearing your table of plates so you can go and fill up more plates. Until I find a Chinese better than this one, looks like I'm going to keep coming back for more.

BASED ON LUNCH TIME:FIRST OF ALL, IM NOT A PICKY PERSON WHEN IT COMES TO CHINESE FOOD OR FOOD IN GENERAL, BUT THIS WAS UNBEARABLE, DISAPPOINTING, AND FRUSTRATING... ALL IN ALL SPENT $10.99 TOTAL INCLUDING DRINK WHICH ISNT BAD AT ALL.... *****AS LONG AS YOU CAN ENJOY YOUR LUNCH*****ONLY gave 1 star for low price.Went here for lunch today and wasn't greeted with a smile or even a hello. just "How many?" Before I could say "just myself" she was already walking off showing me where to sit. I didn't know I was suppose to follow her at first until she stopped to look at me and motioned.I was expecting some California rolls and some delicious chow mein, but all they had there was some disgusting ham lo mien, head on shrimp, and the clams had so much dirt in them. I HIGHLY doubt they washed them... out of 8 clams I ate, I got 6 clams that were filled with sand and something extremely hard.fried squid was to oily and dripping with sweat, ragoons tasted like curdled cheese, eggflower soup was tasteless, rice noodles were good (because they had no taste) The shrimp I ate had a poop sac that had a green cottage cheese like substance (I lost my appetite all together)The only thing edible with some taste was the chocolate pudding, brownie, vanilla pudding, and some lemon orange chicken.***WILL SEE HOW DINNER IS ON A DIFFERENT DAY***** HOPEFULLY SOME CALIFORNIA ROLLS AND SOMETHING TASTEFUL IS ACTUALLY THERE...

After looking for a great Chinese buffet place in the L.A./OC areas, we found this place by accident ("China Buffet"). We were looking for a place with good price, good no grease food, plenty of selections and savory.Surprise!. I devour good Chinese food, and I keep walking out too of this place too full, and with only having had one 10% of their selections. Meat, Seafood, Vegetables,... Muzzles, octopus, shrimp (hot, salt peppered, peeled), crab, telapia,... beef, chicken, pork,... dumplings, giant mushrooms, GLASS noodles (^.^),... classic soups, and some I never seen before or tasted yet. I always get too full to try the Mongolian Beef counter. =PAttentive, excellent, polite staff. Prompt service. Haven't hit crowed yet. Win so far.Caveats: Sushi selection is a little small, same with fresh fruit (desert no problem), the fried squid legs (not the octopus) near the Mongolian counter get a little dry sometimes (beef jerky style). Lots of eaters, so refill time may be a couple minutes behind,... Pizza? (well, is in a small section, and probably for kids).Seating is fast, and I see they have a section for large groups. Top of the line, chef made (pricey) Chinese food in a quasi-buffet setting?. Empress Pavillion in L.A.'s Chinatown. Lots of good Chinese buffet food for a really good price on a formal setting?, China buffet. You know you are in trouble when John Pinnete comes in and sez "I will have the small appetizer" while pointing at the whole of the buffet area o.O

The food here is the Hometown Buffet of Chinese buffets: low quality and terrible. The grilled squid was overcooked and sitting out for a long time. The vegetable egg rolls did not taste good at all. The Hunan-style tilapia was overcooked and tough and had been sitting for a while. Generally, all the food had been sitting for a while as it was a Thursday night and not very busy. The salad bar was bad too because the salad had been sitting out for a while too. The best items they had were the braised string beans. That is its only saving grace. For about $10, I could have went somewhere better but my dad wanted to eat here. There is definitely something wrong when the vegetables are the best entree available.

So my mom brought me here for my birthday lunch because I'm a fan of Mongolian bbq. The Mongolian bbq was good, not great but good. The rest of the food was decent, not great chinese food but most decent some even really good and actually all really fresh and there was a really good variety. The service though, was excellent. Our server Eric was awesome and attentive and actually deserved a a full tip instead of the $2 I would normally leave at a buffet.

Meh....Let's just say that I go here because the price of the buffet appeals to my Dad.Buffet Schmuffet: For $10.95 All You Can Eat, I can get why this place was busy. It's a whole lot cheaper than most buffets that charge nearly twice as much. Then again, the more expensive the buffet, the better the options. For instance, it's true to the title. Expect a lot of Asian Cuisine. Is it top notch Asian Cuisine? Not really. The lo mein noodles are cheap, they're not ever true noodles and the less popular dishes look like they've been sitting there for some time. The dessert selection seems very thrown together, hmph, and I like dessert.Upside: There ARE some diamonds in the rough entrees there. It's never really the same entrees every time that I go in, so you have to be adventurous and try a small portion of all the selection. Also, decent size place, I've yet had to wait for a table even during the Sunday rush.FYI: They have a Mongolian Grill area. For the price of the buffet, that's pretty awesome.
